Editing 

      Editing on iMovie is very simple. For example you can cut the video and put transitions on it, we'll talk about transitions later. You can detach the audio so you can only edit the audio. Last is you can duplicate the clip for example you can make a music video with the duplicate button. These button is on the bottom. You can also use the speed, volume and filters.  

  1. a) If you want to cut the video you can press the split button. You might want to split the video because you want to delete only a small part and don't want to delete the whole video.

 b) After you split it it will look like this.

c) If you want to delete the video that you split, press on the video and then press on the delete button on the bottom right corner.

 2. When you split a video you can adjust the speed, volume or filter.

 a) Press the speed button and you will see this come up.

b) Then you can adjust the speed on the bottom either faster or slower.

3. a) To adjust the sound you need to press on the volume button.

  b) Then you can adjust the volume either louder or softer. You can control it on the bottom.

 4. a) Last is adding filters, there are a lot of filters like blockbuster, dreamy or duotone. So you press the button filters.

b) Then you select the filter you want.

 5. Now we will talk about detaching the audio.
a) When you only want to edit the audio you can press the detach button.

b) After you will see a blue bar underneath the video.

Now you can cut the parts you don't want, change the speed or change the volume.

6. Last but not less is duplicating videos. You might want to make music so you want to duplicate. 
 a) First you press on the video/sound effects you want to duplicate, then you press duplicate.

b) Then you will have duplicated video.
